The Zeppelin Blimp was a German airship used in World War 1, as a way of dropping bombs over enemy territory or into the battlefield. They were one of the causes the war taken into the air, with smaller fighter planes having to take out the zeppelins, leading to dog fights.
This was the car in which Franz Ferdinand, the archduke of the austro-hungarian empire, was assassinated, along with his wife and unborn son. This single event was believed to be the cause of the start of World War I. The car is a 1910 Gräf & Stift Double Phaeton, and after a failed assassination by Gavrilo Princip and his men, he eventually did get his chance, when Ferdinand's driver made a wrong turn that led them to Princip.
Gas Masks are masks used to protect people from air pollutants or toxins, and in WWI played a big role, with the introduction of mustard gas. Trenches were provided with gas masks for the soldiers. They are a traditional look for a soldier in the trenches. The chloride gas was first used by Germany, and it killed over 1000 ally soldiers. From then on Gas Masks played a traditional roll in trench warfare.
Trench Warfare was introduced into WWI as a new form of land warfare, where the soldiers are sheltered and protected from enemies small arms. They occupy previous fighting lines and set ground for war there. The Triple Entente forces took more seriousness into the trenches, accommodating soldiers and sometimes even having running water or electricity. While the allies focused more on fighting, with the trenches being full of mud and water. The land between the trenches of the enemies, was referred to as no man's land
The A7V, better known as a German War tank, were the German forces iteration of a war tank. 100 chassis were ordered, and 10 were used in combat, while the others, were used for cargo. They implemented the way tanks looked, in terms of armor and how bulky they were, along with small windows for the driver.
